It was an honor to photograph Alyssa's recent Quinceanera in Gardena, Los Angeles. 

The "quince" is a major rite of passage for 15-year-old Latinas, both in the church and a big rocking party in the evening. 

Here we see Alyssa doing a traditional dance, and handing out rose pedals.
