We have been photographing weddings and Bar/Bat Mitzvahs in and around the San Pedro area for years, at Temple Beth El, Mary Star of the Sea (our very first wedding!), Doubletree, Crowne Plaza, Michael's Tuscany Room and San Pedro Fish Market. 

The port city of San Pedro was absorbed into Los Angeles in 1909, and is best known for the the Port, a major international seaport, where much of the goods that come to L.A. are sent to and transferred to trucks for delivery.

It's also a stop to board cruises and embark on short-haul boat rides to the island of Catalina, some 22 miles away.
