The first Jewish temple in Orange County, Temple Beth Sholom was formed in 1943 with twenty-five families crowded into a member's home. Today the thriving synagogue counts over 625 households, serving Orange, Laguna Beach, Newport Beach, Anaheim, Santa Ana, Tustin and Irvine.
