Manhattan Beach is the jewel of the South Bay, with several fantastic possibilities for weddings.
Many like to get wed on the beach itself (no permit needed if less than 50 guests) or one of several hotels for both ceremony and reception, including the Manhattan Beach Marriott, Belamar and Shade Hotel.
The Marriott is the largest choice, with weddings set against its large green golf course, and receptions inside in one of the Marriott's ballrooms.
Couples get married in the courtyard at the cozy Belamar, with receptions in one of two ballrooms.
The Shade also looks to the even smaller, but comfortable courtyard, with receptions in the hip Shade restaurant. The Shade is three blocks from the beach.
Or there's always the beach!
